Kublai had cannon, Genghis did not. Kublai had managed to recruit Chin artillerymen and Nick Bosa Shirt Graphic Sport Tshirt Player Best Seller Bootleg Unisex Women Man Vintage 90s Sweatshirt Hoodie Graphic Tee T shirt metallurgists who were able to produce his cannon and then, train his tumans to operate them. Kublai also had learned from the knights of Russia and Europe and so, his horsemen were not just archers but lancers also. So they would alternate between the lance and bow, depending on what they faced. The European armies consisted of crossbowmen and pikemen as well as cavalry, of course. Kublai’s tactic was to switch when it was advantageous, so the knights would charge with lance and the Mongols would stage a false retreat, shooting the knights down as they went. Then, when the knights were nullified, they would charge the crossbowmen. The pikemen would come to the fore and the Mongols would switch to the bow. Because the pikemen needed both hands to wield their pikes, they had to put aside their shields which they used to defend from archers so they were vulnerable to Kublai’s horse-archers. Then the crossbowmen would advance to answer the arrows and the tuman would ride them down with lances. And so, they would wear down armies in such fashion, switching to exploit the weaknesses of their enemies.

I ’ve lived all of my 59 years in New Jersey. I grew up in a I might look like I’m listening to you but in my head I’m fix my car Classic T Shirt sized city where homes were right next to each other. The streets were our playground . Football, baseball , stickball, we played them all in the streets. Sometimes an elderly neighbor would complain about our noise or become upset by footballs bouncing off cars and call the police. The police would stop by, ask us to cut down on the noise and go their way. The bicycle was king. It took us everywhere. No parents shuttling us between play dates. If we wanted to go somewhere, we took our bikes. Fast forward 20 or so years I moved to the “country”. At least New Jersey’s version of it. Not quite like the country in Alabama, Vermont or Nebraska, but where I live now I can’t put the trash out too early, lest the local bear will rip into it.
